J.F. Rohrbaugh (JFR) may have been in Steve Yelland’s family for five generations, but his journey into leadership began on the sales team. He learned about the industry and its customer service demands firsthand. Eventually, his sales acumen translated into a general management role and the subsequent position of company president. Throughout his professional evolution with JFR, Steve has reaffirmed the company’s commitment to unparalleled quality and customer service. Steve leads by example to uphold the company’s values and traditions. Quality, sustainability, and exceptional service are just the beginning with JFR.  He guides the strategic direction of the company as it moves into the future, and he brings the same experience and foresight to the pallet industry at large with his participation in NWPCA governance and events by serving on several committees. Steve is a past board member and chairman of the NWPCA. Currently, he serves on several boards, including The Pallet Foundation and the United States Bobsled and Skeleton Foundation. Steve is an avid cyclist and snowboarder. He lives with his family in Finksburg, MD.

Timothy E. Kiick

Chief Financial Officer

Timothy E. Kiick’s professional experience spans a number of various financial and accounting roles. His diverse skill set and the breadth of his business knowledge brought him to the J.F. Rohrbaugh management team in 2012 as Chief Financial Officer. Tim is a Certified Public Accountant with an in-depth knowledge of financial management, tax reporting, policy implementation, and strategies to maximize the company’s return on investment. He is an Economics graduate of Millersville University, and he holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD. Tim played tennis competitively for many years. Currently, he enjoys teaching at an area country club. He lives with his family in Abbottstown, PA.

Marc Bechtel

Business Development Manager

As JFR's Business Development Manager, Marc is often responsible for a potential client’s first impression of the company. His sincere interest in discovering how J.F. Rohrbaugh (JFR) might be able to better serve its wood packaging needs and his affable and engaging nature allow him to truly relate to potential clients, regardless of the size and scope of their project needs. Marc joined the JFR team with more than twelve years of retail management experience. He also spent time on a nationally recognized inside sales team. His background made it plain that, regardless of the industry, relationship building is the hallmark of a successful sales team. Marc identifies potential markets and future accounts for JFR, expanding its professional portfolio within industries it already has a significant client base in, and exploring markets that are as yet untapped. He asks the right questions to help JFR's Account Management team prepare a focused and effective product presentation. Marc's easy rapport with a potential client makes him--and by extension JFR--a trustworthy advocate, and allows the sales team to create a competitive solution to resolve their crate and pallet issues. Marc lives in Reading, PA, with his family. They love seeing new movies in the theater and spending their family vacations at the beach. Marc also loves to play various sports with his young children.

Heidi Semple

Account Executive

As the Account Executive at J.F. Rohrbaugh (JFR), Heidi's focuses on the continuous needs of our current customers.  From customer visits to account management, Heidi coordinates the services and maintenance of our existing accounts.  Heidi's professional experience has allowed her to fine-tune her customer service, account management, and process improvement skills.  Her experience coupled with her attention to detail, charismatic attitude, and drive for success makes her a great fit for our Sales Team.  Heidi has a bachelor's degree from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania where she studied English and Communications.  Outside of the office, Heidi enjoys giving back to the community, exploring nature, and spending time with her rescue dog Roxy.

Sarah Kitchen

Account Support Specialist

Sarah brings over 10 years of sales and customer service experience to the J.F. Rohrbaugh team. She is a solutions-oriented creative thinker. As our Account Support Specialist, Sarah is responsible for internal support during the sales cycle process. Specifically, she researches and prepares product presentations, quotes pricing, facilitates sample products, organizes new customer files, and is a girl-Friday for existing customers, whatever their inquiry.Sarah is also the inbound-call-point-of-contact for pricing updates and service inquiries. Sarah attended Franklin & Marshall College. She spends her off-hours fine-tuning the manners of her Australian Cattle Dog, and she and Loki explore local hiking trails, together. We provide our customers with precision quality milled new lumber and recycled standard and custom wood pallets. For our customers with shipping box and crating needs, I design custom SolidWorks CAD models and drawings to ensure optimal required specifications. We also operate within a zero waste production model. This gives our customers choices when it comes to recycling, reclaiming and simple disposal of used pallets and additional waste products.
